“No Recovery Without Equity: Addressing the Gendered Impacts of COVID-19 in Canada”
Carmina Ravanera is a Research Associate at the Institute for Gender and the Economy at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. Her research and writing focus on equity and social justice in intersection with work, the economy, and public policy. She is the co-author of “A Feminist Economic Recovery Plan for Canada: Making the Economy Work for Everyone”, a national plan for equitable recovery from COVID-19. Prior to her current role, Carmina worked with organizations across Canada on advancing workplace diversity and inclusion. She holds an MSc in Gender, Development and Globalization from the London School of Economics and an Honours BA in International Development from McGill University.
